A broadcast and digital media industry veteran with significant new business development and sales management experience, Young joins a recently expanded management group and will drive sales initiatives in response to higher demand for voice- and data-driven dialog products.

SPLICE Software recently launched new applications and services to give customers a way to harness data and rich media in the growing smart home/personal assistant space. By working with SPLICE, companies can develop a branded presence on Alexa Skills, and SPLICE plans to release similar applications for Google Home soon. Under Young’s guidance, SPLICE will expand its customer base in response to heightened demand. 

Before joining SPLICE, Young held leadership positions at Golden West Broadcasting, most recently serving as Regional Sales Manager for Alberta, where he successfully led key business development initiatives. Young has served on the boards of numerous organizations, including Servus Credit Union’s Community Council, the Mount Royal University Broadcasting Advisory Board, High River Economic Development and the Okotoks Chamber of Commerce. He holds a bachelor of music in voice from the University of Lethbridge and an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
